Virtual Name Card QR Code for Teams, Zoom and Meet Backgrounds
A virtual name card QR code is a dynamic code that opens your editable contact profile. Put it on your Teams, Zoom or Google Meet background, a closing slide or a webinar holding screen. Viewers point their phone camera at it and save your details, with no app needed.

Buying in Singapore
For Singapore, both plans are Price on request — ask us for a price and we reply within 48 hours.
Published details are covered by the PDPA 2012, administered by the PDPC.
Ideas for Singapore work: regional sales teams can share one link across markets; consultants can put the QR code on their Teams or Zoom background for calls with clients in neighbouring countries; and founders can add it to pitch decks, so investors save the right details.
Tip: if your clients span Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, keep one English profile with a short line in each client’s language rather than separate cards.
Everything is supplied online and nothing is posted. After payment is confirmed, your order is recorded for profile set-up, which is not instant.
Local questions
- Is it suitable for regional roles across Southeast Asia?
- Yes. One link works in every country you cover, and you can update your title or office when your role changes without sending new details.
- What does a virtual business card cost in Singapore?
- Prices for this store are on request. Ask through the contact page and we reply within 48 hours.
- Can I add more than one language?
- Yes. Write your profile in English and add a line in Chinese, Malay or Tamil where it helps your clients.
- Who regulates personal data in Singapore?
- The Personal Data Protection Commission, under the PDPA 2012. This is general information, not legal advice.
On your Teams, Zoom and Meet background
Build a 16:9 background image with your QR code in an upper corner, away from where your head and shoulders sit. Make the code larger than feels natural, roughly a fifth of the image height, dark on a light square with a clear border around it. Avoid placing it over a busy bookshelf or a bright window.
Many video apps mirror your own preview, so the code can look reversed to you while everyone else sees it the right way round. Before an important meeting, join from a second device and scan your own background to check it works at normal call quality.
On your slides
Put the code on your closing slide with a short line such as "Scan to save my details", and leave it on screen while you take questions. Adding it to your opening slide as well helps late joiners and people who want to follow up during the talk.
Keep the code at least a quarter of the slide height. Screen sharing compresses images, and small codes become unreadable on the far side of a busy call.
If you share your slides afterwards as a PDF, keep the code on the last page and put the profile link underneath it, so people reading the deck later can scan it or click.
In webinars and recorded sessions
Show the code on your holding screen before the start and as a corner overlay during the session, so attendees can scan it whenever they decide to get in touch rather than only at the end.
Recordings keep working for months. Because the code is dynamic, it points to your profile rather than storing your details, so viewers who watch a replay next year still reach your current role, number and booking link. You edit the profile; the code on every slide and recording stays the same. The same applies to a replay embedded on your website or shared in a newsletter.

Frequently asked questions
- How big should the QR code be on my video background?
- Larger than you expect — roughly a fifth of the image height or more, with a white border around it. Place it in an upper corner, away from where your head sits, and test it from another device.
- Why does my QR code look reversed in my video preview?
- Many video apps mirror your own preview. Other participants see the background the right way round, so the code still scans for them.
- Does the QR code change when I update my details?
- No. It is a dynamic code pointing at your profile. You edit the profile; the code stays the same.
- Does the person I share it with need an app?
- No. The profile opens in the web browser already on their phone or computer. They can read it, follow your links and save your contact details without signing up or installing anything.
- Is this a subscription?
- The plans on this page are one-time payments, shown next to the price before you check out. Nothing renews automatically from that purchase.
- How do I receive it?
- Online. Nothing is posted: after payment is confirmed, your order is recorded against the email address you gave at checkout for profile set-up, which is not instant. Once your profile is ready, you sign in and add your details. To check on your order, contact us and quote that email address.
