A virtual meishi business card is an editable web profile with your contact details, links and documents. You share it through your email signature, a QR code on your Teams or Zoom background, or a chat message. Recipients open it in their browser, save your details and need no app.
Not to be confused with a virtual payment card: this shares contact details; it does not make payments.

Most first meetings now happen on a screen
You meet people in inboxes, on Teams and Zoom calls and in group chats far more often than across a table. A paper card can’t travel through any of those, and typing your number into a meeting chat is slow, easy to lose and out of date the day something changes.
A virtual meishi business card goes wherever the conversation goes
You create one editable profile with a permanent link and a dynamic QR code. The link goes in your email signature and messages, and the QR code goes on your video-call background or your phone screen for in-person meetings. Edit the profile once and every copy you have shared shows the change.
Step-by-step setup: how to use a virtual meishi business card in your email signature, Teams and Zoom.
What every plan includes
- One editable profile with your name, role, photo, company details, social links and documents.
- A permanent profile link and a dynamic QR code that keeps working when your details change.
- A "save contact" button that downloads a standard vCard file for iPhone, Android and desktop address books.
- Your logo and brand colours on the profile, managed from a browser dashboard.
- Profile analytics in the dashboard. Business Add-ons adds lead capture, bookings, enquiries, forms and a CRM.
For people who introduce themselves for a living
Consultants, sales teams, recruiters, freelancers and remote workers whose introductions start by email or video call — and teams that want every employee to share a consistent, branded profile.

- Build your profile: details, links, logo and brand colours.
- Add the link to your email signature and the QR code to your video background.
Questions people ask before ordering
Do the people I share it with need an app?
No. Your profile opens in the browser already on their phone or computer. They can read it, follow your links and save your contact details without installing anything or creating an account.
Can I really put it in my email signature?
Yes. Paste your profile link into the signature settings in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. You can add the QR code as an image too, but keep the text link, because some email clients block images.
Will a QR code on my Teams or Zoom background actually scan?
It will if it is large, high-contrast and placed away from your head. Upload it through your video app’s background settings and test it from a second device. Some companies switch off custom backgrounds, so check with IT first.
What happens when my job title or number changes?
You edit the profile. The link and QR code stay the same and show the new details, so signatures and backgrounds you have already set up keep working.
Is it a subscription?
No. The plans on the product page are one-time payments, with the price shown before checkout.
How do I receive it?
Online. Nothing is posted: after payment is confirmed, your order is recorded against the email address you gave at checkout for profile set-up, which is not instant. Once your profile is ready, you sign in and add your details. To check on your order, contact us and quote that email address.
Is this the same as a virtual payment card?
No. A virtual meishi business card shares contact details. It does not issue card numbers or take payments.

Virtual meishi business cards in Japan
In Japan, exchanging meishi is part of every first meeting, and LINE is a common way to stay in touch afterwards. Our Japanese store is in English; here is what is local about it.
Prices for this store are not published yet, so both plans show Price on request. Ask for a price on the contact page and we reply within 48 hours.
Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) is overseen by the Personal Information Protection Commission. For your profile, publish only what you want anyone with the link to see, and handle leads only for the purpose they were shared. Our privacy policy covers our side.
LINE is widely used for messaging, so your profile link fits naturally into a LINE chat after a meeting. Many profiles show the name in Japanese and in Latin letters, with an English job title for international contacts. Sending the link the same day as a meeting also puts your details on the contact’s phone, next to the meishi you exchanged.
