Virtual Business Card QR Code for Teams, Zoom and Meet Backgrounds

A virtual business card QR code is a dynamic code that opens your editable contact profile. Put it on your Teams, Zoom or Google Meet background, a closing slide or a webinar holding screen. Viewers point their phone camera at it and save your details, with no app needed.

Buying in the United States

For customers in the United States, Brand Presence costs $72 and Business Add-ons $120, each a single payment in US dollars with nothing to renew.

In California, the CCPA/CPRA applies to personal information; read our Do Not Sell or Share page.

Ideas for US work: account executives can drop the link into a calendar invite before a discovery call, founders can keep it in their Slack profile for investor and partner channels, and remote teams spread from coast to coast can give each person one profile, so every rep shares current details whatever the time zone.

Tip: on a Zoom call with prospects in several states, leave the QR code on screen during introductions, when people are most likely to save a new contact.

Everything is supplied online and nothing is posted. After payment is confirmed, your order is recorded for profile set-up, which is not instant.

Local questions

Can I put the link in my Slack profile?
Yes. Slack profile fields accept a web address, so colleagues and partners in shared channels can open your card from your name without asking for your details.
Is sales tax added at checkout?
The checkout shows the final amount before you pay. The plan price shown on this page is a one-time payment in US dollars.
Can I put my profile link in my Slack status?
Yes. Add the link to your Slack profile or status so colleagues and shared-channel partners can open your details without asking.
Is my personal information sold?
No. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our Do Not Sell or Share page explains your rights.

More about virtual business cards in the United States

On your Teams, Zoom and Meet background

Build a 16:9 background image with your QR code in an upper corner, away from where your head and shoulders sit. Make the code larger than feels natural, roughly a fifth of the image height, dark on a light square with a clear border around it. Avoid placing it over a busy bookshelf or a bright window.

Many video apps mirror your own preview, so the code can look reversed to you while everyone else sees it the right way round. Before an important meeting, join from a second device and scan your own background to check it works at normal call quality.

On your slides

Put the code on your closing slide with a short line such as "Scan to save my details", and leave it on screen while you take questions. Adding it to your opening slide as well helps late joiners and people who want to follow up during the talk.

Keep the code at least a quarter of the slide height. Screen sharing compresses images, and small codes become unreadable on the far side of a busy call.

If you share your slides afterwards as a PDF, keep the code on the last page and put the profile link underneath it, so people reading the deck later can scan it or click.

In webinars and recorded sessions

Show the code on your holding screen before the start and as a corner overlay during the session, so attendees can scan it whenever they decide to get in touch rather than only at the end.

Recordings keep working for months. Because the code is dynamic, it points to your profile rather than storing your details, so viewers who watch a replay next year still reach your current role, number and booking link. You edit the profile; the code on every slide and recording stays the same. The same applies to a replay embedded on your website or shared in a newsletter.

Frequently asked questions

How big should the QR code be on my video background?
Larger than you expect — roughly a fifth of the image height or more, with a white border around it. Place it in an upper corner, away from where your head sits, and test it from another device.
Why does my QR code look reversed in my video preview?
Many video apps mirror your own preview. Other participants see the background the right way round, so the code still scans for them.
Does the QR code change when I update my details?
No. It is a dynamic code pointing at your profile. You edit the profile; the code stays the same.
Does the person I share it with need an app?
No. The profile opens in the web browser already on their phone or computer. They can read it, follow your links and save your contact details without signing up or installing anything.
Is this a subscription?
The plans on this page are one-time payments, shown next to the price before you check out. Nothing renews automatically from that purchase.
How do I receive it?
Online. Nothing is posted: after payment is confirmed, your order is recorded against the email address you gave at checkout for profile set-up, which is not instant. Once your profile is ready, you sign in and add your details. To check on your order, contact us and quote that email address.
